I have been making homemade salsa for years now and every year it just keeps getting better and better.
My friend Stacy loves it so much she has named it “Valsa” after me.
– 4 large Tomatoes ~ diced
– 1 Yellow Pepper ~ diced
– 1 Orange Pepper ~ diced
– 1 Green Pepper ~ diced
4 Green Onions ~ minced
1 Cup Cilantro ~ minced
4-6 Cloves Garlic ~ minced
1 Jalapeno Pepper with seeds (optional) ~ minced
Braggs Liquid Seasoning ~ one generous squirt (to taste)
Juice from 6 limes
6 Tbsp. Olive Oil
Fresh Ground Black Pepper ~ to taste
Secret Ingredient ~ to taste (sorry, it’s a secret)
- Prepare Tomatoes, Peppers, Onions, Cilantro and Garlic and add to bowl.
- Squeeze Lime Juice over ingredients.
- Add Braggs Olive Oil and Black Pepper.
- Add Secret Ingredient.
- Mix thoroughly and refrigerate. (remove from fridge a half hour before consuming to let the Olive Oil warm up)
Serve with Tortilla Chips.
Can also be served along side any meal as a condiment.
