ADDICTIVE MORNING SMOOTHIE
OK, this smoothie is REALLY addictive! My husband and I started making this kind of smoothie a year ago and we cannot skip a day without it! Every time we have guest over and make them this smoothie, their reaction is never disappointing!
1 young coconut (water and meat)
2 tablespoons raw organic cacao nibs
1-2 tablespoon raw organic cacao powder (depends on how much you love cacao)
1 frozen banana
1 cup ice
Place all the ingredients in a Vitamix or high power blender until smooth.
I use to put 1 date in this smoothie, but I realize that it was sweet enough without it. If you have a sweet tooth, you may want to try it with 1-2 dates.
Young coconuts are extremely healthy. They are packed with vitamins, minerals and electrolytes. Very hydrating and healing as well.
